When most people hear the term burn-out they imagine some dreaded plague to avoid at all costs. It’s no wonder. Symptoms of burn-out include chronic fatigue, insomnia, cynicism and detachment. While the message that “something’s gotta give” may be helpful, it’s not an easy fix. Today in our conversation Leanne points out that it’s not just a matter of working too hard; it may be a lack of preparation, boundaries and self-assessment.


Leanne walks us through how to switch from “on” to “off” regularly so that we can stay in tune with how we are feeling. She also gives tips for how to observe a day of rest and be in the present.
