What to expect
Max group size of 5 couples
(10 people)
The group setting is not a "couples small group" where everyone shares in group discussion, but rather think of the format as parallel learning and growth.
Your facilitator will present questions and exercises that spark dialogue with your partner. We keep the group size small enough to encourage questions, but large enough to feel less confrontational than traditional two-on-one therapy.
Overnight timeframe
After dinner, your overnight location is up to you! If you're local to Houston you're welcome to spend the night at home or make a night of it and book a hotel room for a local staycation.
A relaxing setting at the Greenhouse Day Spa in Houston
All the group gatherings in your getaway will take place at The Greenhouse Day Spa, conveniently located near central Houston.
Evening activities that set the mood and lay a foundation for connection
You'll kick off your evening with couples yoga, followed by a private date night with your partner at a restaurant (or park picnic!) of your choice. Your date night is guided by our instructions and conversation starters.
Three hours of content in the morning back at The Greenhouse Day Spa
Rejoin the group in the morning for a series of exercises including worksheets, conversations, journaling and discussion with your partner.
Breakfast is on your own, but coffee is provided!
Wrap up with a plan for moving forward
The work you do as a couple should extend beyond just the time and space of the Couples Getaway. An important component of the work we do involves vision-casting for the future.
During your session, you and your partner will discuss a plan for moving forward. This may look like addressing negative patterns and hangups or a shared mission and vision as you embark on your future together.
CRISIS SESSION FEE
$350 per hour

We do not accept insurance or provide a diagnostic code. Billing information is collected along with registration. Cancel for free anytime until one week prior to the event. Less than one week prior to the event will result in a charge of 50% of the event fee.

Rather than spend valuable time on generic activities, intensives are your opportunity to make quality progress on specific conversations or reconnect before, during, or after a chaotic season.
